Intense rainfall has impacted the Fraser Coast region, resulting in flash flooding. Conditions remain highly unpredictable and are changing rapidly. We strongly advise against driving unless absolutely necessary. Click here for council updates
Due to flooding, our Reservations Centre is currently closed, and we are unable to take phone calls at this time. For guests with bookings at Kingfisher Bay Resort or K'gari Beach Resort due to check in today, 9th March 2025, we are offering a credit voucher valid for the next 12 months.
If you are booked to travel on the ferry from River Heads today, we are also happy to provide a credit to use within the next 12 months.
K’gari Explorer Tours will not be operating tomorrow (10th March 2025) due to road conditions on the island. If you are booked to travel tomorrow, our team will be in contact with you to discuss alternative arrangements.
